Background

Seabrook Crisps, one of Britain’s oldest crisp manufacturers, is defying the economic slowdown and achieving the biggest sales volumes of its 64-year history. Sales are up by 50%, and despite tough global economic conditions, Seabrook forecasts continued growth through 2010.

Driving this growth has also seen a need to develop the way in which Seabrook’s is managed.

To support the demands that the growth has created Seabrook’s needed to enhance the skills and abilities of its senior management leadership team and chose PDG to design and deliver a customised Leadership and Management Development Programme that would support an underpin the skills needed in a rapidly growing and demanding business environment that would create and support the new Seabrook Leadership culture.

The Solution

The senior Leadership team undertook a customised leadership and management programme over a period of three months.
Key aspects that the programme focussed on included;
