Arco is the UK’s leading supplier of personal protective equipment, workwear and workplace safety products.
Arco’s ethos of putting customers and people at the centre of everything they do that is one of the real key to their success.
As a part of their continued development and desire to enhance their relationship with key national accounts Arco decided to develop a new approach to how it handled these key relationships with a new National Account Management Team.
After undertaking an assessment centre with the team Arco identified an opportunity to raise the bar in terms of how its new National Accounts team presented and communicated the Arco brand to the marketplace.
The team needed to be better at delivering business and sales presentations.
PDG were selected to design a tailored business presentations programme for the entire National and Key Account Management team.
The programme focussed on three major areas. Building the confidence of participants to present and sell their ideas effectively, how to structure, prepare and deliver a powerful and persuasive message and to ensure a consistency of delivery of the ARCO message to existing and prospective new customers.
A further key objective was to create an opportunity for open, constructive and objective feedback on the competence of the team.
What did the participants say about the results?
To be taken so far out of my comfort zone and being able to bring that back down and use this to put myself across in a very confident, positive way. First class.
